On June 18, 2026, the Dairy Industry Innovation Institute had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Thom Huppertz, Professor at University College Cork and FrieslandCampina, a renowned scientist specializing in dairy science and technology. For many years, Dr. Huppertz has conducted pioneering research into processing optimization, dairy product characteristics, and the pivotal role of innovation in contemporary dairy processing.
During the visit, Dr. Huppertz learned about the Institute's activities, touring our research laboratories and pilot plant. The meeting provided an excellent platform to showcase IIPM's scientific and research facilities, exchange valuable insights, and discuss contemporary challenges and growth opportunities across the global dairy sector.
